Elio Grasso Dolcetto d'Alba 2022

Elio Grasso's Dolcetto d'Alba is exactly what you would expect from a high-quality Dolcetto d'Alba. The Dolcetto undergoes no wood contact during the aging process, which is characteristic of Dolcetto. This ensures the wine remains fresh, preserving its red fruit aromas even more. It has a lot of fruit, minimal complexity, a smooth finish, and a prominent red fruit aroma. It is an excellent wine by Dolcetto standards. Even though I am not a big fan of Dolcetto, I definitely enjoyed this one. It makes a great table wine, especially paired with a good pasta dish or some Italian snacks.
