What are the delivery times?

I ship all orders before 17:00. In Holland and Belgium your order should arrive within 2-3 working days. Rest of Europe is 3-5 working days.

How much will shipping cost?

Shipping costs in Holland and Belgium is €9,95. Rest of Europe is €14,95. Orders above €300 inside the EU are free of shipping costs. Shipping costs for orders outside the EU are €29,95 There is not a free shipping option offered for orders outside the EU.

Can you provide worldwide shipping?

Yes, I offer international shipping to many countries. I work with a 3PL partner to ensure logistics run as smoothly as possible. They have good relationships and contracts with various postal companies, which makes shipping at an international level efficient and there are more options for shipping to countries outside the EU. You can check if delivery to your location is possible during the checkout process.

Can I track my order?

You can track your order using the track & trace link that will be sent once your order has been shipped. Typically, this will be included in the second email you receive. The first email serves as a confirmation that your order has been received. The second email will confirm that your order has been dispatched and will include a tracking link or code for your convenience.

How can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order before it is confirmed and dispatched. Since I aim to provide same-day delivery for orders, it's best to act swiftly if you need to make any changes or cancel your order. The optimal way to do this is by sending an email at info@theitaliangrape.nl with your order details and the reason for cancellation.

If you have already received confirmation that your order is on its way and have been provided with a tracking number, I recommend waiting for the delivery. The best solution is to return the item(s) within 14 working days from the date of receipt, adhering to our return policy. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

In case of any issues, such as ordering the wrong wine, please contact me immediately via email so we can address it as soon as possible.

What if I receive the wrong product?

If you receive the wrong product, please email directly at info@theitaliangrape.nl with your order number and a picture of the received wine as proof. I will cover the return costs, and once you have confirmed the return, I will promptly send you the correct wine.

How do I return my product?

If you want to return or exchange the wines you purchased, please email specifying the wine you wish to return. You can email this to info@theitaliangrape.nl. The returned bottles must be delivered in the original box or in break-proof bottle packaging. I will process the returns once the bottles are delivered without any breakage or damage. To ensure a smooth return process, please ensure that the product is unopened, the label remains undamaged, and the bottle itself is intact for return. It is important to pack the item securely for return shipping, preferably reusing the original packaging your wine was delivered in. Can I return or exchange a bottle of wine if I don't like it?

Are all the wines on the website actually available?

The website is a digital representation of the wines I have in stock. All the wines are physically in stock and can be dispatched immediately to the customer. They are stored in a temperature-controlled storage facility.

Are there any restrictions on who can purchase alcohol from your website?

Yes! In accordance with Dutch regulations, only individuals aged 18 or above are permitted to buy wines from the website. Upon delivery, the recipient will be required to provide proof of age to confirm they are 18 years or older and must sign for the delivery.

How do you ensure the quality of your wines?

To ensure quality, I personally inspect or request proof of storage conditions before purchasing any wines. This allows me to verify that the wines have been stored correctly to maximize enjoyment. Additionally, I collaborate with reliable importers who maintain impeccable storage conditions, or alternatively, the wines are sourced directly from the winery. Upon arrival at my warehouse, I store them in a temperature-controlled cellar, maintaining a constant temperature of 12°C and humidity around 60%, to ensure proper storage until they are ready for purchase.

Can I request a specific vintage or year for a wine?

How should I store my wine after receiving it?

It is advisable to store your wines in a temperature-controlled environment with minimal fluctuations, ideally between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius. This space should be dark, free from vibrations, and maintain a humidity level of around 60%. Ideally, a wine cellar or wine fridge would meet these conditions. However, since not everyone has access to a cellar, ensure you store your wine in the darkest area of your house, where temperatures do not exceed 16°C.
