Unveiling the Majesty of Tuscany
On Saturday, October 12th, I will be hosting a wine tasting in the cellar of Nan Wijnen, where we will explore the beauty and diversity of Tuscan wines. Nan Wijnen is a renowned wine shop in Amsterdam with a charming cellar, ideal for diving deeper into the world of wines. Tuscany holds a special place in my heart as it is where my passion for wines began and where my first wine journey took place. This region is unique due to the wide variety of wines produced, with numerous grape varieties and winemakers, each with distinct visions and techniques, creating some of the best wines in Italy. I am excited to share this knowledge with my fellow wine enthusiasts!
What can you expect?
Get ready for a fun and educational journey through the enchanting world of Tuscany! To gain a deeper understanding of Tuscany, we will be tasting wines from three renowned sub-regions within the area. These include the enchanting wines of Montalcino, the diverse wines of Chianti, exploring the differences between various Chianti types, and wines from Bolgheri, the birthplace of the 'Super Tuscan' revolution.

The tasting is held in the cozy and atmospheric cellar of Nan Wijnen, which accommodates up to 12 people. This limited capacity ensures a high-quality experience and a relaxed setting. You can find the location of Nan Wijnen at the bottom of the page.
Details
The tasting is priced at €54,95 per person, including 7 fine wines, and a spread of fresh Italian snacks.
The tasting starts at 18:00 and will last approximately 2 hours. It is expected to finish between 20:00-20:15. Please arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to start time. Arriving between 17:45-18:00 would be ideal, also for the benefit of the group to start promptly.
